For this project, I carried out a full Venetian plastering process on interior walls, giving them a luxurious, polished marble finish. I began by preparing the existing surface, carefully filling any imperfections, cracks, or holes. Once dry, I sanded the entire area to ensure a flawlessly smooth base, which is critical for a successful plaster application. I then applied a specialist primer from Impera Italia, which helps the plaster adhere properly and enhances durability. All my materials for this project came from this supplier, ensuring high-quality results.

After the primer cured, I applied a base coat of Venetian plaster and gradually built up layers of tinted plaster, adding depth and character. After each layer, I burnished the surface with a stainless steel trowel from Pavan Tools, which helps achieve the signature reflective sheen. The surface was then wet-sanded using ultra-fine grits ranging from 1000 to 10000 to create a glass-smooth texture.
Final detailing was added by hand with a brush to enhance the texture and depth of the finish. The last step involved applying a wax polish, buffed to a high gloss, much like car detailing, sealing and protecting the surface while emphasizing its shine.
