Achieve a Stylish Industrial Look with Concrete Panels Effect

What is the Concrete Panel Effect?

The concrete panel effect takes inspiration from the flat, grey walls you’d see in city buildings, factories, or parking garages

How we achieved this effect and process we used on the project.

We began by priming all the walls to ensure proper adhesion. After that, we applied a product called Archi Concrete by Novacolor, which had been pre-mixed with a custom tint to achieve the desired concrete tone.

We applied the first coat evenly, followed by a second layer once the first had set slightly. While the surface was still tacky, we measured out each panel and carefully applied cling film. Using a trowel, we pressed the cling film into the surface to create a unique, textured concrete effect. This process was repeated panel by panel across each wall.

Once the texture was complete and fully dry, we scored lines into the surface to define the panel outlines more clearly. Finally, the entire wall was sealed with a protective wax finish to enhance durability and maintain the look. Also, just to be transparent
