Introducing Master Plasterer Mr Colin Morris
Mr. Colin Morris began plastering at the age of 16, when he was offered an opportunity by a family friend at Fylde Plasterers in Blackpool, Lancashire. From the start, he displayed a natural aptitude for the trade — the skills came easily, and as his confidence grew, he began to appreciate its architectural artistry.
Winter Gardens Project
Colin, a master plasterer, was commissioned to carry out restoration work on a circular column at the Winter Gardens Theatre in Blackpool.
Historic Bickerstaffe Windmill and Cottage Get Restored
The restoration of the historic Bickerstaffe Windmill has recently reached an important milestone with the completion of its lime rendering, and work is now being finalised on the adjoining Miller’s Cottage. Although these two properties belong to different owners, they share a common heritage and now a matching traditional lime render finish that reflects their historic character.
