Tasked to produce circular window reveal as customer wants perfect and true circle. And able to meet customer’s requests.
This involved making a template out of zinc and then mounting it on a horse with a slipper
A centre pin was then built out of timber and set to the correct radius that would give us circumference that was required for the contract
The core was made out of strips of plasterboard and fixed together with plaster wads
The mould was then run using casting plaster with a retarder to slow down the setting process
Once set and dried it was delivered to site and fixed in place using screws and wads to secure
Final result once plastered and decorated and a very happy customer
